Here is a cool old Japanese Burny Les Paul TV Yellow DC Special. It is a vintage FTV-55 90Y. The build date for these was around the 1972-75 period in Japan. It features the original 'Les Paul - TV Model' on the headstock but has had the top Burny logo over-lacquered. It has a rosewood fingerboard with a mahogany body with a comfortable (fairly chunky) '59 profile neck & is nice & light at 3.5kg. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. No structural or electrical issues. The truss rod is working fine, plenty of life in the frets and the neck is dead straight. Absolutely no breaks or repairs etc. Lovely overall vibe with plenty of authentic playwear, with scuffing & paint chips around the edges. We’ll let the pics tell the rest of the story.
