Fender Old Lake Placid Blue Jaguar w/ Matching Headstock Crafted in Japan R Serial (2004-05). Here's a very rare Fender factory finished OLB Jaguar. It's tough to track down Jags in this colour, even in Japan. It looks awesome with the matching headstock. It has resonant Alder body & dense dark slab of rosewood for the fingerboard. The naturally tinted amber maple neck feels very nice to play. It also has a factory fitted mint 3-ply pickguard. Straight neck, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. No issues whatsoever either electrically on structurally. Weight is 3.8kg. It's all factory save for a mustang bridge. It has just been lightly player over the years with no paint chips etc, better than most Jags you're gonna see from this period. All in all is a beautifully built Jag from Fender Japan. It comes with its original Fender Japan booklet and shop warranty card, which is handy for provenance as it has the guitar's unique serial number printed on it. Also includes original MIJ tremolo arm and a Fender branded padded softcase. If you are looking for a rare custom colour Fender Jag you won't find a better built machine than this Japanese beauty.
