Fender Japan 1962 Telecaster Reissue Candy Apple Red w/ USA Texas Specials w HSC

Very cool old candy apple red Fender 62' custom RI Telecaster (MIJ T-Serial) with hardcase. Double bound, alder body, dark rosewood fretboard, great sounding USA Texas Special pickups and heaps of vintage mojo. Neck is a slightly thicker 60's C shape than we usually find on these. Plays great with plenty of bite & twang if you want it courtesy of the 3 saddles. A nice action and the lightweight alder body feels very resonant. Good solid weight at 3.7kg. Neck straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. Binding starting to yellow which looks great against the CAR finish, as does the cream 3 ply pickguard. All 100% original condition. Some playwear, thin finish with no big paint chips or anything like that. Some scratches on the back and some edge wear etc. All in all it’s a superb old Japanese Telecaster Custom reissue. Complete with Telecaster hardcase (with keys) and original Fender Japan booklet.
