Fender Japan 1975 Reissue Jazz Bass CIJ P-Serial 1999 Fiesta Red Blocks Binding

Here is a very scarce 1975 Reissue Fender Jazz Bass in factory Fiesta red finish, block inlays and neck binding! Official model name JB-75 FR. It’s a CIJ P-serial, built to a very high standard by Fender Japan (not Mexican!) between 1999 - 2002. This is the only Fiesta Red '75 Reissue Fender Japan Jazz Bass we have ever found at GSG, they were a domestic-only model in Japan. Made in small quantities & not exported for retail. They are no longer in production. This one has all the top of the line specs including an ash body, USA pickups and beautifully grained rosewood fingerboard. It looks great in FR with the aged cream neck binding, block inlays, skunk stripe and 3-ply solid white pickguard. Neck is straight, bullet truss rod working, plenty of life in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No modifications, repairs or breaks. It has a little playwear with a few small bumps, scratches 2 little paint chips. So not mint by any stretch, but incredibly rare and cool nonetheless. Complete with Fender branded softcase This was Fender Japan’s top of the line Jazz bass back when it was in production and is a rare find today, especially in this finish.
