Fender Japan 1990's Jaguar 1966 Reissue CIJ O-Serial 1997-2000 3 Tone Sunburst
Fender 1966 Reissue Jaguar in beautiful warm three tone sunburst. Meticulously crafted in Japan to vintage ’66 specs as you'd expect. It’s a CIJ O-Serial which puts the build date at 1997-2000. This is a really cool old Jag. It has very defined cool looking alder grain visible under the sunburst on the front and back. It’s got all the good stuff: alder body, maple neck & wonderful looking dark rosewood fingerboard with 7.25 radius. Still has its original 3-ply red tortoiseshell pickguard which works with the warm sunburst. Everything working fine, plenty of life in the frets, truss rod turning, neck straight. Weight is 4kg. It’s got all the vintage playwear you'd expect to find on a 90's Jag and looks all the better for it. A little natural wear always looks sick on Sunburst Jags. Some nice maple grain patterns all over the headstock. The plastics are yellowed, the metal hardware is lightly oxidised and there are little worn in paint chips everywhere, some which have been touched in. Sounds great & plays great, nice action for a Jag with all circuits functioning perfectly. Complete with softcase and correct tremolo arm. No mods or repairs. A quality built Japanese warrior.
