Fender Japan 1990's Jaguar 1966 Reissue CIJ O-Serial 1997-2000 Sunburst

£1,195.00Price

Here is a very pretty 1990s Fender CIJ Era 1966 Reissue Jaguar in beautiful warm three tone sunburst. Meticulously crafted in Japan to vintage ’66 specs as you'd expect. It’s a CIJ O-Serial which puts the build date at 1997-2000. It has some great looking alder grain visible under the sunburst on the front and back. It has all the good stuff: alder body, maple neck & wonderful looking dark rosewood fingerboard with 7.25 radius. Still has original 3-ply red tortoiseshell pickguard (still have the original clear protective film on, which we will give the new owner the satisfaction of removing!) The pickguard works with the warm sunburst. Everything working fine, plenty of life in the frets, truss rod turning, neck straight. Great Jag weight at 4kg. The plastics are yellowed, the metal hardware is lightly oxidised and there are one or twi bumps and scuffs on the edges, but no paint chips. It is much cleaner than we usually find with the era of CIJ Jags.  Sounds great & plays great, nice action for a Jag with all circuits functioning perfectly. Complete with original Fender branded softcase and correct tremolo arm. No mods or repairs. A quality built Japanese warrior.
