Fender Japan Mustang '69 Reissue CIJ P-Serial CIJ 1999 Rare Surf Green MIJ CIJ
Here is a very cool '69 Reissue P-Serial CIJ (1999-2002) Surf Green Fender Mustang. We get the occasional Sonic Blue stang that has faded to Surf Green but to find a true factory SG Japanese Mustang is rare, and trust us on this, we get a LOT of Japanese Mustangs! It’s killer looking guitar, the SG & black pickguards work together. Like all MIJ/CIJ Mustangs it's true to the vintage Fender spec, with the '69 contoured body, 7.25 radius rosewood fingerboard, button tuners, 3-ply pickguard and F stamped neckplate. It plays well too, very resonant with plenty of Mustang attitude. The dark rosewood fingerboard is beautifully grained and the neck shows some nice defined maple grain up and down right through to the top of the headstock. There are no mods, breaks or repairs. Neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. Weight is 3.4kg. It's obviously not mint and does have some wear as you’d expect with the age, with dimples etc and a light rub patche to the back. Complete with a 5mm threaded tremolo arm (just drops in and tightens like normal) & non-original softcase. Built immaculately as you'd expect from Fender Japan. A very cool ‘69 vintage specification Mustang in a pretty rare colour.
