Fender Japan Telecaster 1952 Reissue Butterscotch Blonde CIJ O-Serial 1997-2000

£1,095.00Price

Up for grabs is this nice old late 90’s Sen-Ash 1952 reissue Telecaster. It's is also on the lighter side for a 90's MIJ '52 Tele. It's an O-Serial CIJ which puts the build date between 1997-2000. It’s a killer player & has the vintage looks going on. The clearcoat over the thickly grained Sen Ash body is darkening to give it more of a Butterscotch look nicely offset by the single ply ‘52 black guard. Very resonant and feels great to play, plenty of Tele twang and some real bite. Nice medium v neck profile. Has a 7.25" vintage radius fingerboard. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks, repairs or routing. Overall nice condition for the age, a few bumps scratches, and the metal hardware is tarnished but no big paint chips etc. Weight is very light for an ash Tele at just under 3.1kg! Comes with a generic softcase, zips working. Definitely one of the cooler CIJ ‘52s we’ve had in of late.
