Fender Japan Telecaster 1962 Custom Reissue Fully Bound Sunburst TL62B-TX
Top of the line ’62 RI Telecaster Custom from Fender Japan (TL62B 82TX). It's a very clean CIJ S-Serial (2005-06) with a warm three tone sunburst over super lightweight alder body with 3-ply cream pickguard, full cream body binding & 3 spiral saddles. Meticulous attention to detail, as you’d expect from a Japanese built Fender. You won’t find a better built Tele. Has a nicely grained slab Indian rosewood fingerboard (7.25 radius) and the amber tinted maple neck and headstock also show some nice grain patterns. Sonically the USA built Texas Special pickups sound amazing. Plenty of bite and the 3 saddles make for some great twang if that’s what for you’re after. Resonant too when unplugged and feels great to play. Structurally and electrically sound. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. No modifications. A good weight for an alder bodied ’62 Custom at 3.5kg. Pre-owned with a few bumps and scratches, the Texas Special sticker was reapplied to the neck plate which we have left on. No big dings or paint chips. Complete with period correct Fender branded softcase. A very cool '62 RI Fender Japan Custom Telecaster.
