Fender Japan Telecaster 62 Custom Reissue CIJ R-Serial 2004-05 Piano Black

Here is a beautiful 2004 Fender Japan 1962 reissue Telecaster Custom (TL62B-TX). It is a CIJ R-Serial. It has a fully bound lightweight alder body with 3-ply cream pickguard, full cream body binding, 3 spiral saddles and fender stamped bridge plate. The USA built Texas Special pickups sound amazing. Plenty of bite and twang and a great Tele action. Really resonant too when unplugged and feels great to play. Weight comes in at 3.6kg. Structurally and electrically sound. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. No modifications, it is all factory stock. It has the looks of a killer vintage Telecaster. The double body binding is nice and tight with no cracks and is beginning to naturally yellow, which always looks good against a bound piano black body. It is super clean for a 20+ year old guitar with just light playwear and no big bumps, paint chips etc. It’s well on the way to being a vintage classic.
