Fender Japan Telecaster Rare 1952 Reissue Factory Blonde 'Micawber' 2002 w/ HSC

£1,395.00Price

Here is a rare early 2000's Fender Japan Micawber Telecaster. It’s a CIJ Q-Serial (2002-2004). It was a Japanese domestic Fender and not built for export. It’s a cool light Blonde 1952 reissue with great sounding factory installed Dragster humbucker in the neck based on Keith Richards ‘Micawber’ Tele. The bridge pick-up is a USA Texas Special. Some nice ash grain is visible underneath the Blonde finish. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine and plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks, repairs or routing. It has a well worn in vintage feel with bumps, dings, paint chips and a dull patina over all the metal hardware inc. the brass bridge & saddles. The two decades of natural aging make it look even better in our opinion. A great playing Tele, the pickups are both outstanding and work well together. There are very few of these about and we always try to grab them when we see them in Japan. Complete with vintage Japanese hardcase. Well along the road to being a natural road-worn vintage warrior.
