Fender Jazzmaster 1966 RI 2005 Old Candy Apple Red Matching Headstock CIJ

Fender Jazzmaster 1966 RI 2005 Old Candy Apple Red Matching Headstock CIJ

£1,445.00Price

Up for grabs is this very cool old Fender Jazzmaster with a real nod towards Kevin Shields iconic Jazzie. It’s a Japanese Fender, not Mexican, so you can expect the best build quality out there coupled with vintage specs.  Built between 2005-06 (CIJ S-Serial). It’s a nice dark Candy Apple Red with matching headstock and great looking vintage red/brown tortoiseshell 3-ply pickguard. It has a quality alder body with a good dark & dense rosewood fingerboard (not pau ferro). The fingerboard has a vintage spec 7.25 radius, just as it should be. Very resonant and feels great to play. Neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. All circuits are functioning fine. No breaks or repairs. No mods save for the tort guard which is still an original MIJ guard, the original would have been white. It has a few little bumps & scuffs but no nasty paint chips. Weight is 3.7kg. Complete with correct tremolo arm & padded softcase. A very cool old Fender Jazzmaster well on the road to being a true vintage looker.
