Fender Limited Edition Japanese Domestic Only FSR 1960's Custom Telecaster Ash
For sale we have this very scarce and beautiful looking Fender Japan FSR 1960's Custom Telecaster in quilted translucent Pink. Please note it is probably a little more pink and less red than it looks in the pictures above, it's a tough shade to capture exactly. Not many people had a shot at these as the run was tiny, was only sold in Japan for a single retailer, and was gone in the blink of an eye. The run has now ended and no more are being made. This is a Fender Japan guitar, not Mexican, so expect the best build quality and tonewoods you'll see outside the custom shop. It has a beautifully grained ash body and quilted 2 piece maple top complimented with a bound top. You also get a maple neck with U profile carve, vintage style frets and a beautiful looking and feeling Rosewood fingerboard (9.5 radius). No washed out looking Pau Ferro on this beauty. You will not see these in any other Western guitar shops. This guitar sounds superb, is unplayed and has no visible blemishes. The white spots you see on the back are just overhead spotlight reflections. Weight is very good for an ash/maple Tele at 3.5kg. All pics are of actual guitar.
