Fender Mustang 1973 RI Competiton Edition Fiesta Red w/ Matching Headstock MIJ 2

Fender Mustang 1973 RI Competiton Edition Fiesta Red w/ Matching Headstock MIJ 2

£1,295.00Price

Here is a really scarce vintage specification Fender Japan '73 Reissue Competition edition Mustang. It’s an MIJ JD Serial MIJ (2012) in rare factory Fiesta Red finish with matching headstock and vintage white competition stripes. We don’t see many in this finish from Fender Japan, most you will see will be CAR or OCAR. Awesome vintage specs with Poplar body, 7.25 radius rosewood fretboard, white button tuners & 3-ply pearl pickguard. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine with plenty of life left in the frets. No breaks, repairs or routing. Structurally and electrically fine.  Weight 3.2kg. Overall in clean condition with no obvious dings or paint chips etc. Complete with original period correct Fender Japan branded softcase (all zips working!) correct black tipped MIJ Mustang tremolo arm and original Fender Japan booklet and shop warranty card, which is handy for provenance as it has the guitar's unique serial number printed on it. Built immaculately as you'd expect from Fender Japan. A beautiful 1973 vintage specification reissue Mustang in a rare finish.
