Fender Stratocaster Japan 1962 RI Vintage White CIJ R-Serial 2005

Here we have a lovely Fender Japan 1962 Reissue Stratocaster ST-62 TX in Vintage White from 2005-2006 (CIJ R-Serial). This is a great looking Strat and being Japanese-built you can expect top quality fit and finish. It has an alder body with a beautiful dark slab rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25 radius, Fender stamped steel saddles, 3-ply white pickguard and great sounding Texas Special pickups with 3-way switching. It has some nice maple grain on the front and back of the headstock and down the neck. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine with plenty of life left in the frets. Weight 3.5kg. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. It a great looking old Stratocaster slowly aging into a real vintage looker. All the plastics have turned off white and the maple neck and headstock have darkened over the decades. Playwear but no big dings or paint chips. It's had some nice upgrades with a Dynaglide string tree and tremolo block. The finish has darkened a little over time giving it. nice naturally aged look. Complete with tremolo arm & period correct Fender Japan softcase. A beautifully built ’62 RI Stratocaster in one of our favourite Strat colours!
