Fender Telecaster 1962 Alder Custom RI MIJ 2013 Rare Japanese Ice Metallic Blue
Stunning 1962 reissue Telecaster Custom from Fender Japan. Ice Metallic Blue was a domestic Japanese only finish on these so you don’t see it much outside Japan, but it always looks great on these TL62bs. It is an MIJ JD-Serial from 2013. Top quality alder body with 3-ply cream pickguard, full cream body binding, 3 spiral saddles and fender stamped bridge plate. The slab rosewood fingerboard is very dark and the amber maple neck and headstock looks superb. The TL vintage pickups sound great. Plenty of bite and twang and a great Tele action. Really resonant too when unplugged and feels great to play. Structurally and electrically sound. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. No modifications, it is all factory stock. Weight is 3.7kg. Pre-owned so does have a few light signs of being played, a few bumps and little scuffs here and there. Nothing horrendous though with no paint chips etc. Complete with Fender branded softcase. A very cool '62 RI Fender MIJ ’62 Telecaster Custom in a rare colour, this one is definitely a keeper.
