Fender Telecaster Fully Bound 1962 Alder Custom RI 2005 Old Lake Placid Blue

Top of the line 1962 Reissue Custom Telecaster from Fender Japan in factory Old Lake Placid Blue (TL62B-TX). OLB is one of the harder colours to find & outside of Japan as it was domestic only in the TL62Bs. It’s a CIJ S-Serial from 2005 with a lightweight alder body, factory fitted USA Texas Specials, 3-ply mint pickguard, full double body binding & 3 spiral saddles. Some really nice tonewoods were used for this one. I like it a lot. Great looking dark & dense rosewood fingerboard with 7.25 radius. Sonically Texas Special pickups sound great. Really resonant too when unplugged and feels great to play. Structurally and electrically sound. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. No modifications. Has some light playwear commensurate with age, just the odd little fish nick here & there. Complete with Talecaster hardcase and key.. A very cool Fender MIJ ’62 reissue OLB Custom Telecaster.
