Fender Telecaster Vintage 1987 FujiGen-Era CTL 50-R Black & Gold MIJ Japan

Here is a VERY CLEAN 1987 Fender Telecaster all Black/Gold CTL-50-R. It's not a model we find often and this is the cleanest example we have ever come across. It's a G-Serial MIJ which puts the build date between ‘87-’88 at the legendary FujiGen plant in Japan. There is no neck pencil scribble on this one to give exact date. As is usually the case with these excellent 80’s MIJ Fenders, the fit and finish is the best you will see, it’s a brilliant player & has some killer looks to match. Good Tele weight at 3.5kg. Alder body with maple neck. Very resonant and feels great to play, plenty of Tele twang and some real bite. Neck is dead straight, truss rod fine and plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks, repairs or routing. Just very light playwear with no notable big blemises. You will not see a cleaner example of this rare Telecaster. Don't miss it. Complete with generic Japanese softcase.
