Gibson Custom Shop 1957 Les Paul Standard Historic Reissue

Here is a very rare Les Paul. It’s a stunning 2016 Limited Edition USA Gibson Custom Shop VOS 1957 historic Reissue (R7) in Alpine White finish with dark mahogany sides and back and all black binding. Gibson built this exclusively for Ikebe (Japanese market). It was sent to Ikebe in Japan as either a single order made guitar or one of a small single figure run. We’ve never had another in our possession and we specialize in rarer/high end Gibson Custom Shop editions. It was imported by GSG from Japan. Complete with all case candy inc. certificate of authenticity booklet etc. It has a beautiful dark vintage aged rosewood fingerboard with black neck binding, fret end binding and a dark back. A good chunky neck that I’d say is closer to an R8 in feel and it has huge sounding open zebra Custom Buckers. Has had the full VOS treatment from Gibson's custom shop so some intentional Custom Shop light ageing all over probably with some light playwear added by the previous owner but no obvious big dings or blemishes save for a few light scratches and a tiny scrape on the very edge of the headstock, pretty insignificant but worth pointing out given the value of this guitar. Obviously no issues at all, no breaks, repairs or modifications. Any little white specs you see on the headstock close ups are just dust specs.Weight is 4.2kg. Complete with original historic pink velvet crush lined Lifton reissue hard shell case also in great condition with key.  A one off chance to own something very special to sit alongside your R7 Goldtop; a great guitar and you wont go wrong with this one as a long term investment.
