Gibson Custom Shop 2006 Tom Murphy Hand Aged Yamano Order '59 Les Paul Standard

We’ve had our fair share of Murphy Aged ’59 historics come through the doors here at Gas Station Guitars, but I gotta say this is old 2006 ’59 is one of my absolute favourites. It has a beautiful Lemonburst top that has been carefully hand aged by Tom Murphy and was snapped up by the guys at Yamano and taken back to Japan back in 2004 Long before the Murphy lab production line guitars. You all know what goes into a Gibson Custom Shop historic ’59 reissue so I won’t go into the details except to say it’s in fine condition. It's been carefully locked away and barely played over its 18-year lifespan.  All the ageing has been expertly done by Tom Murphy’s hand. Obviously there have been absolutely no breaks or repairs. No electrical or structural issues. Nice and lightweight at 4.38kg. I’m assuming if you are reading this you be familiar with vintage Tom Murphy Les Pauls’, ‘Yamano’ etc so I’ll let the pics do the rest of the talking. An astoundingly beautiful guitar.
