Gibson Custom Shop 2023 1959 Les Paul Reissue Green Lemon Fade VOS (R9)
Up for grabs is this beautiful 2023 green Lemon Fade VOS Gibson 1959 Custom Shop historic reissue Les Paul. This particular guitar was carefully selected from the Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee, for export to Japan. It’s an absolutely intense flametop on this one as you'd expect from a Custom Shop R9 selected for Japanese retail. There is so much movement going on here that the pics don’t get anywhere near to it. It has stunning thick uniform maple flame with Tigerish 3D movement and mineral streaking. It is as close to the real deal that you are going to find, with a dark dense Indian Rosewood board. A stunning R9 in every sense of the word. Complete with all case candy inc certificate of authenticity booklet & also the separate corresponding paperwork including the Japanese docs. Great feeling '59 profile neck and some of the loudest Custom Buckers I’ve ever heard! It's an absolute featherweight for an R9 at 3.9kg. Obviously no issues at all, no breaks, repairs or modifications. Comes with all case candy, COA and original historic pink velvet crush lined Lifton reissue hard shell case also in great condition. Has had the full VOS treatment from Gibson's custom shop so some intentional light ageing all over. Otherwise super clean with no noticable blemishes. This represents the absolute best of the best when it comes to a 1959 Custom Shop reissue. You wont find a better looking R9. I’ll let the pics do the rest of the talking.
