Gibson Les Paul Classic 1995 Yamano Goldtop Relic Non Chambered/OHSC

Here is a rare chance to get hold of a nicely aged Gibson Les Paul Classic Goldtop. It has been expertly aged all over. by a Japanese luthier These 90’s classics are phenomenal guitars, and this particular Les Paul is a prime example of what have made them so sought-after in recent years. This is from 1995, (bang in the middle of Gibson’s good wood era), built in Gibson’s USA Nashville plant. It was hand-selected by Yamano for export to Japan, where it was aged. It is basically an early 1960 reissue. The nitro finish has dulled and there is lovely nitro checking all over the the guitar; aged to exactly the kind or pattern Gibson try to replicate with their historic relic reproductions. There are little patches of wear to the finish. The binding has yellowed and the metal hardware has taken on a vintage natural dull finish. Being a Classic it has a 60’s profile neck and weighs in at healthy non-chambered 4kg. It is the regular classic profile neck carve. Nut = 42.5mm, depth at 1st fret = 21mm, width at 1st fret 43mm. Depth at 12th fret = 23mm, width at 12th fret 51mm. It is all factory spec just as it came out of Nashville. The 469r/500t humbuckers sound great. No pickguard with this one. Lots of life in the frets, the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight. No problems either structurally or electrically. Complete with original Japanese Yamano booklet, and original Gibson Tan, pink-lined HSC with silk shroud which is in also in good condition with all latches & combi-lock working fine. A very special 1995 Les Paul Classic Premium Plus from the great classic years.
