Gibson Les Paul Standard 2001 Ebony Non Chambered All Original w/ OHSC

Up for grabs is this real old roadworn Gibson Ebony Les Paul Standard from 2001. It was built in Gibson’s Nashville plant at the tail end of a very good period for Gibson. It’s a Japanese warrior and would have been a Yamano order as it was brought to us from Japan, although please be aware it has no Yamano documentation. Anyway it definitely looks the part in ebony with the binding and all the plastics yellowing which always works with this finish. It has a solid ‘59 profile neck. It is all factory spec and weighs in at a pretty hefty non-chambered 4.9kg! Never been refretted so still has its fret-end binding (nibs). Heaps of life in the frets, the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight. No problems either structurally or electrically. It’s pre-owned so obviously not mint condition, lots of ageing visible, with scuffs, wear around the edges and dulling of the nitrocellulose lacquer. There are also 2 fellable spots on the neck (pics) there the lacquer has reacted to so kind of guitar stand in the past. Aside from the wear and tear, nothing bad has ever happened to this old girl. No breaks or repairs etc. Complete with original pink lined tan Gibson HSC with silk shroud, which is also a bit roadworn but with all latches working. It's heavy, roadworn and has feelable paint marks on the neck, if you can live with all that then this is a killer vintage warrior Les Paul Standard from old good wood days of Gibson.
