Gibson Les Paul Studio 1998 Wine Red w/ Gold Hardware
This one is an absolute beast! Cool old 1998 Gibson Les Paul Studio in Ruby finish with some real mojo. It's from the classic Gibson 'good wood' years and the Studos in particular from this period were superb LPs. It has a great looking Wine Red top and rosewood fingerboard. It has a thick neck, somewhere between a '58 and '59 profile carve. The high gain 496R/498T humbuckers sound brutal. This model also came with Gold Grovers. I love this one, it holds its own in with all our much more high-end Les Pauls in both tone and feel. Built in 1998 at Gibson’s Nashville plant. Obviously no issues at all, no breaks or repairs. The guitar is in perfect working order. No structural or electrical issues. Truss rod fine, neck dead straight and a little wear but plenty of life left in the frets. Great weight at 4.2kg. It has some playwear and looks all the better or it. Bumps and scuffs, the gold hardware is nicely tarnished and there are some little finish chips. Comes with generic padded softcase, not the hardcase in the pics. An immense 90's Studio!
