LEFTY! Fender Alder Jaguar Left Handed '66 RI 1997 Three Tone Sunburst CIJ Japan

Japanese Fender CIJ period Jags don't come around often, and usually not much cleaner than beauty. It is a rare Japanese built Lefty Fender Jaguar from way back in 1997 (CIJ O-Serial). For once is not a Kurt Cobain Model. There are hundreds of Mexican KC models all over the internet but finding a Japanese Fender 1966 alder-bodied left-handed reissue is pretty special. We only come up with a handful of these per year from Japan and they are never usually this clean. Like all the Fender MIJ ’66 reissues it has a great resonant alder body & all the vintage specs you’d expect. This one has a really nice dark factory three tone sunburst. It has a good, dense slab of rosewood for the fingerboard with a 7.25 radius & some nice light/dark streaking. Beautiful tinted amber maple neck. Complete with its original with 3-ply red Tort pickguard. It is all stock with no mods, breaks routing or repairs. Straight neck, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Weight is just a whisker under 3.8kg. It is is very clean condition. Just a some scuffs dimple and couple tiny nicks in the finish here & there. Complete with MIJ Jaguar push in tremolo arm but it is a right handed one. Had a thick generic padded softcase. A scarce Japanese Fender CIJ Era left handed Jaguar.
