Vintage 1982 Fender JV Japan Telecaster TL52-65 06/28/82 Natural Ash FujiGen MIJ
Here is a very special vintage 1982 FujiGen built Fender 1952 RI Telecaster (TL52-65) in naturally darkened natural ash finish. This is one of the earliest JV Teles we have had from FujiGen Gakki. Aside from the age and rarity it plays great too, nice action with plenty of bite & twang. The super dry lightweight ash body feels great and is very resonant. The guitar weighs in at a very nice 3.5kg. It has its original single ply black pickguard, 3 spiral saddles, JV stamped neck plate and Fender stamped bridge plate. No issues either electrically or structurally. Neck fine, frets fine, truss rod fine. Being from early 80’s it has all the mojo you could want, and is well along the road to being a vintage stunner. It has its original vintage spec sotted screws, with an ash body and maple neck (C profile) with a 7.25" radius. The old wood and thin finish add to the superb resonance of this guitar & it also looks pretty cool. The knobs have been replaced with a vintage black and white Jazzmaster knobs, and the selector switch tip is from a vintage Strat. There are some sticker shadows to the body and pickguard. You are buying a vintage Fender Telecaster so expect plenty of well worn in little finish nicks, chips etc. It comes complete with Telecaster hardcase with key.
