Vintage 1987 Fender Japan 1957 Standard Stratocaster FujiGen E-Serial MIJ w/ HSC
Very cool vintage 1987 E-Serial Fender MIJ ‘57 Reissue Stratocaster in beautifully aged Piano Black. It’s an early Fender Japan Stratocaster built on 28th May 1987 at the legendary FujiGen plant (5-28-87 pencilled under the clear coat on the neck heel). It is in a wonderful naturally reliced condition for an almost 40 year old Stratocaster. The 50’s maple neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. All original with single-ply 50’s scratch plate and steel Fender stamped saddles and neck plate. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. Weight 3.4kg. Has the nice well worn in feel & look you get with these 1980’s FujiGen built guitars. It obviously has some playwear and looks all the better for it. A little pitting to the frets etc. No plastic backplate. Sets up and plays beautifully with a medium action. This is an awesome vintage Fender Japan ’57 RI Strat, don’t miss out on it. Complete with tweed style Stratocaster hardcase with locking key.
