Fender Japan Telecaster 1962 Reissue Candy Apple Red w/ USA Texas Specials 2007

A very cool one here. It's a 2007-2010 built Candy Apple Red Fender 62' RI Telecaster (MIJ T-Serial). Double bound, alder body, dark rosewood fretboard, great sounding USA Texas Special pickups and heaps of vintage mojo. Neck is a slightly thicker 60's C shape than we usually find on these. Plays great with plenty of bite & twang if you want it courtesy of the 3 saddles. A nice action and the lightweight alder body feels very resonant. Good solid weight at 3.7kg. Neck straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. Binding starting to yellow which looks great against the CAR finish, as does the cream 3 ply pickguard. All 100% original condition. Nice condition for such an old Tele. Just light playwear, thin finish with no paint chips or anything like that. Some scratches on the back. All in all it’s a superb old Japanese Telecaster Custom reissue. Complete with period correct gigbag.
